MY VISION
TANA Patashala and Kalashala Enhancement:
Improve and expand TANA Patashala and Kalashala programs to enrich the educational and cultural experiences of our community's youth. Ensure these institutions serve as vital hubs for preserving and promoting Telugu language, arts, and heritage.
TANA Team Square Initiatives:
Introduce impactful initiatives through TANA Team Square to address the specific needs and concerns of our community members. Enhance communication channels within TANA Team Square for better coordination and responsiveness.
Engaging the Younger Generation:
Develop programs and events to actively involve and engage the younger generation in TANA. Establish mentorship programs, leadership forums, and cultural events to bridge generational gaps and ensure a vibrant future for our community.
Senior Community Support:
Implement targeted services and programs to support the growing Telugu senior community in Appalachia. Provide healthcare assistance, social engagement opportunities, and other resources to enhance the well-being of our seniors.
EVENTS
- As a Presidential Awards chair, I was successful in promoting the importance of recognizing volunteers and applying for awards regularly.
- During 2020 pandemic played a key role in procuring the PPE’s (masks, gloves, sanitizers) and distributing them through TANA to the local communities.
- As a local TANA Team Square volunteer got involved in handling tragic incidents like road accidents, suicides, health related deaths, domestic violence & immigration issues.
- Was instrumental in organizing 5K runs locally in the RTP(Raleigh) area.
- Played a key role in organizing most of the TANA events from 2017 like CURIE competitions, DhimTANA events, food donations, fundraising events...etc.
- Served as a President for TATA (Triangle Area Telugu Association) in 2022 and Membership director in 2021. Proud to say, under my leadership TATA of NC reached new heights in membership, new programs and raising funds to remain as the leading Telugu organization in the Raleigh area.
- Been serving as a Board of Director (BoD) in “Asian Focus of NC” from 2019 which helped me with an opportunity to interact with different Asian communities. I have been on the organizing committee of the annual Asia Fest which has an attendance of about 10,000 people.
- Introduced local TANA team to the annual dragon boat racing as part of Asia Fest for the past few years.
- Been an active volunteer in local Telugu Associations like TATA of NC and SV Temple of NC.
- ఎక్కడో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని కృష్ణా జిల్లా, దాలిపర్రు గ్రామం పుట్టినూరు. సీను కట్ చేస్తే నార్త్ కరోలినా రాష్ట్రం, ర్యాలీ ఉద్యోగాన్వేషణలో చేరిన నగరం. మధ్యలో సింగపూర్ లో బ్రేక్. క్లుప్తంగా చెప్పాలంటే ఇది రాజేష్ యార్లగడ్డ (Rajesh Yarlagadda) ప్రయాణం; ఆంధ్ర నుంచి అమెరికాకు వయా సింగపూర్.
- అందరిలానే అమెరికాలో తన ఉద్యోగం తను చేసుకుంటుండగా, తనతోపాటు చుట్టూ ఉన్న నలుగురికి సాయం అందించాలనే ఆలోచన మొదలైంది. అనుకున్నదే తడవుగా ర్యాలీ లోని స్థానిక తెలుగు సంఘం (Triangle Area Telugu Association), వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామి గుడి మరియు ఆసియన్ ఫోకస్ ఆఫ్ నార్త్ కరోలినా వంటి లాభాపేక్షలేని సంస్థల్లో వాలంటీర్ సేవలందించడం మొదలుపెట్టారు.
